My daughter was looking to buy a Civic Si. Not to many around in her price range. We mistakenly went up west of DC to two different big dealers to look at newer cars with fewer miles, wasting three hours in the process. Sadly, the cars were in poor condition, and of course subject to the standard high pressure sales people. With the day fading fast, we called down and JDM agreed to stay past normal hours for us. We arrived and they were there, and very welcoming. During the test drive, our salesman even reminded us to make sure we tested the sunroof. We were not rushed, nor pressured, but once she decided to buy, they processed the sale quickly and professionally. We live about 1.5 hours away, but would go back again. Bill

Reliable Cars

I contacted this dealership more than a month ago to inquire about a vehicle that i was interested in. When I called Urooj answered all of my questions and set me up with an appointment for a test drive. Upon my arrival, I think his name was Omer, assisted me with a test drive. The car was very clean from inside and outside. I spoke to Saboor and he was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about the purchase i was making. He also gave me a good deal. Reliable and Affordable

We purchased a Honda Civic from JDM Auto. My Family and I had been looking for this vehicle for long time. We hesitated on buying this as we had to drive 7 hours to even look at it. My experience with JDM was all around Amazing! Becky was first to call me about a 2009 VW Jetta for my daughter. When I arrived the first day to test drive the vehicle, I was met by Urooj, both ladies were amazing. Made me feel at home, answered all my questions and was genuine. My second visit I test drove another Jetta, but went back to the first as it was the better deal. Had a very positive experience with Omar at JDM Auto yesterday. In addition the manager was willing to work with us on price and was accommodating regarding our methods of payment. After driving the 05 Mustang convertible home in the snow can’t wait to put the top down. Great used vehicle at a very good value and very happy with the overall experience. Special thanks to Omar for his directions and getting his long legs in that small Mustang back seat… Lol. Probably the best experience I’ve ever had in purchasing a vehicle. Family run business

Regarding the dealership: Super friendly, family run, and helpful. They go over all their vehicles (see below) and do any repairs needed before putting them on the lot. Not many dealerships do that, and it pays off with their repeat customers as well as word of mouth which gives them a customer base from five different States. Becky answered all my questions, going out in the lot after working hours in the cold to look it over for me. She kept up the conversation with me until late in the evening. This is what made us decide to make the trip the next day to take a look. What we found: The van we drove up from NC to see had multiple problems. The dealership handles mostly newer and more expensive vehicles, so when they get a lower end one in stock, if it passes the States inspection they don’t go over it other than clean it up. That was the case with this van. When we pointed out the problems they offered to repair them but we decided against it. The owner felt so bad that he told us he had just bought a van the day before that was currently being inspected. He went to get it for us to look at, and it turned out to be the one for me. We waited while they cleaned it up, then drove home my new baby. We discovered one problem with it on the way home that we’re hoping the free warranty will cover. Overview: I would recommend to anyone needing a good used vehicle to make the trip. They are a relatively small lot, but that’s what keeps them reliable, efficient and a good deal on top of it.

Hybrid Vehicle Purchase

Started looking for a used hybrid. Eventually came to JDM Auto via the USAA Auto buying service. I liked that they also had a mechanic shop as part of their business. I looked at the Toyota Camry Hybrid at this location and another used car lot. JDM Auto obviously looked at and cleaned up the car. I initially worked with Della (who did a fantastic job) but due to family issues, I delayed in purchasing. I came back and worked with Becky and the purchase went well. The only issue I had was with their third party vehicle licensing person who did very little for what I paid for them to do. I licensed the vehicle outside of Virginia and basically had to do all of the leg work after it came back that the initial paperwork was incorrect. However, Becky did a good job keeping the temporary vehicle license and registration up to date. Overall, good experience with the exception of the vehicle license and registration.

Buyer

Just purchased a SUV from JDM. I was extremely pleased with this dealership. The car was in excellent condition and very clean. They gave me a very fair trade in amount on my SUV. They were all very courteous and Bryan Owens who helped us was very knowledgeable. He showed us several vehicles and when we explained what we wanted the vehicle for he recommended the lower priced one we had looked at. Wow, when does that ever happen. I plan on recommending them to my friends who also use the USAA car buying service. They truly did more than we expected. Thanks JDM.

Best experience with JDM Auto for Toyota Highlande

The people in JDM Auto were very professional, friendly and nice. They provide excellent services and made my experience a smooth and enjoyable one without pressuring us to purchase. The owner Saboor, Becky and coworker Brian were knowledgeable and they know the cars they are selling. Saboor only looks for cars that are clean and serviceable. He will then transform them into an excellent pre-owned car which he will then sell at reasonable price. After I bought my car, there were some minor issues which they were readily to repair when i contacted and went back to them. Though i still have to pay for the repair, they do not quote to cheat more from what the repair should cost. I recommend anyone who is and will be looking for cars to go to JDM Auto and to check out the cars they have. You won’t find yourself wasted your trip down to JDM Auto even you can’t find the right car of your choice. You will find these people are nice and friendly to just chat with you and make your day and shopping a wonderful one.
